thumb:
o Usually
3-152’s
– 3 s.m., 500’ below, 1000’ above, 2000’ horiz
o
Exceptions
to 3-152’s
– Class A: IFR only
– Class B: 3 statute miles, clear of clouds
– Class E (above 10,000’): F-111
– Class G (day): 1 statute mile, clear of clouds
– Special VFR: 1 s.m., clear of clouds
– Helicopter in class E - fly at a speed to see and avoid IFR conditions
