Rules of the House

In order to preserve the peace and respect others, we ask that you follow these guidelines.

Conduct.  All conduct and activity in the crew house will be lawful, honorable and respectful of others, and will adhere to rules.  The crashpad is not a party house but a home away from home for mature career professionals.

Cleanliness.
The crew house will be cleaned regularly but please assist by cleaning your own mess.  Clean and dry your kitchenware and cookware immediately.  Do not leave dirty dishes in the dishwasher.  Keep the community areas clean and orderly.  This is serious – if you are regularly identified as ignoring this rule you will be asked to leave.

Bunk Assignments.  Priority for bunks will be on a first come first serve basis.  Please straighten your bunk area and stow your gear when you leave the crew house.  No personal items or clothing should be left in the sleeping areas.

Food.  Food arrangements are your responsibility.  Storage and sharing of food is strictly between individual agreement with other crewmembers.  Refrigerators will be cleaned out periodically.

Linens.  You must provide your own linens and are responsible for keeping them clean and orderly.

Maintenance.  If you become aware of any maintenance need in the crew house, please contact me by cell phone and I will take care of it as soon as possible.  If it is an emergency, of course call 911.

Smoking.  Smoking is allowed ONLY outside the crashpad.  Please use the disposal pails for cigarette butts if you plan to smoke.

Quiet Hours.  After 10 PM please respect your fellow crewmembers need for rest.

Access.  The door combination is changed monthly and is provided to you via email when you reserve your space for the next month.

Transportation.  Minneapolis Light Rail runs from the airport to the crashpad.  The trip takes about 6 minutes from the airport.  The rail stop is visible from the front door of the crashpad.  This is public transportation that runs to the airport 24 hours per day.  You are responsible for your own transportation to and from the crashpad.

Payment.  Your prompt payment is due on the first of the month.  Those arrangements will be discussed when you arrive.  Discount: Pay for 11 months, get the 12th month free.  No refunds.

Conflict resolution.  We assume no responsibility for conflicts between guests.  Respecting the peace of others requires that you take all such conflicts out of the house.  And keep them there.  Failure to do so may mean we will ask you to leave.

Liability.  We assume no responsibility for the personal security of it's guests, or the loss of personal belongings. You assume all the normal liabilities associated with a shared living arrangement.
