Multi-Engine Ground School

HCC Continuing Education offers a full complement of Aviation Ground training. The following courses are an adjunct to flight training you may be contemplating or currently taking.   For more information, contact the instructor at 

The Multi-Engine Ground School is intended for private and commercial rated pilots who wish to obtain the Multi-Engine add-on to their certificate.  A detailed review of multi-engine aerodynamics, oral exam questions, checkride maneuvers, and FARs is provided. 12 Hours.
 

We'll cover basic multi-engine aerodynamics, instruments including partial panel, multi-engine systems,  approaches, checkride maneuvers, and performance calculations .  Completing the course qualifies you to pass the oral portion of the FAA Multi-Engine practical test. 

After starting the course, you'll have an opportunity to start flying complex multi-engine aircraft immediately—at a reduced rate negotiated for attendees of this course.

Course Benefits:

• The Multi-Engine rating enables you to fly a multi-engine airplane as PIC. This FAA rating requires that you take a practical (flying) exam. By taking this class, you will be prepared to successfully pass the oral portion of the checkride. 
• We’ll cover the basics in depth, so that you will be prepared for a lifetime of safe flying.
• During this course, we will help you find a good flight instructor at one of the local FBOs if you don’t already have one. If you are not sure what your next steps are, we’ll help you. 
• Excellent Value:  group training is much cheaper than paying $35/hour for 12 hours of ground instruction.
• We have negotiated a reduced rate for your flight training to obtain your rating.  This special rate is lowest in the Tampa Bay area and available only to attendees.  Details are available on the first day of class.
