I offer two quiz options:

  • Take the quiz in class after presentation of the course material.  See the course schedule for dates of chapter presentations.
  • Take the quiz on-line.  - If taking the quiz via the internet, you must submit the quiz for grading by NOON the day BEFORE the in-class chapter quiz is scheduled.  See the course schedule to determine the date of the in-class chapter quiz.
    • Either option is ok with me!  It's one or the other, not both.  We each learn in different ways, and these two options offer the student a flexible method of proving learning comprehension. Late quizzes, even a minute, automatically lose 10% grade value.  If not completed by the last scheduled day of the class, it is automatically recorded as a zero.  There are no "incompletes" available for late/missing quizzes.

    Print the directions below so that you can follow them step-by-step.

    1.  Go to my home page by reaching  my home page, select the course you are taking.
    2.  Within the course page, there are links for each chapter (towards the lower part of the page).
    3.  Select the chapter you are currently studying.
    4.  After following the steps for learning chapter material, choose the "Take the Quiz" option.
    5.  You will be presented the chapter quiz.  At the end of the questions, select the "Submit for Grade" option.
    6.  Your quiz score is presented along with an analysis of your answers.  Please read the analysis carefully.
    When you've read the analysis, fill in the "Routing Information" box.  Include the following information:
    My name is:   TYPE YOUR NAME
    E-mail my results:
    Me:  ENTER YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS (if you have one)
    Instructor:  hccdarren@yahoo.com
    Always submit results as text - results not sent as text are discarded automatically.

    Finally, click "E-mail Results".
    That's it.  I recommend you e-mail yourself a copy AND print out the analysis.  It will be useful study material when you take the final exam.
