Presentation Guidelines

Follow these steps for success:

  • Give examples!
  • Allow for additional examples from instructor/other students, provide opportunity for concept synthesis and further exploration of the topic.

    • You've been given a number of resources to assist you in your project... see Better Learning Page, Oral Presentations section for tips.
    • Your grade is computed from the Oral Evaluation Guide so please familiarise yourself with it.  Your grade will suffer if you don't use it and pay attention to it.
    • If you're going to read your entire presentation from the textbook, forget it.  I can read the book myself and so can the class.
    • If you're not prepared, be ready for an "F".
