Comments = Darren- Just a quick note to let you know just how helpful your website has been to me. I hold a PPSEL and am working towards my instrument at this time. The CFII that got me my Private is the same one working on my instrument with me. He taught me well how to be a fundamentally safe and sound private [pilot] but the problem is he is an "Old Timer" who has excellent flying skills but no real hand experience in the modern day IFR system. The choices are slim at the FBO....him! I have used your website as a virtual CFII and it has helped immensely. Thanks for taking the time to create it. Like me, I bet that pilots all over the globe are benefiting from it too! Regards, Tom

Comments = Darren - After seeing your website and hearing Tim N crowing about how great you are, I wanted to see if you'd help me brush up on my basics in my Searey.  But I notice you don't do 2 seaters or seaplane instruction.  Why is that?   Reply: I'm on the high side of the scale and to avoid any chance of weight & balance issue, I put an arbitrary limitation.  I have made exceptions when weight & balance was in check, i.e. RV-6.  As for seaplane, I do that for fun. Flight instruction is work, so I have to save something for myself.

Darren-Thanks for a great website -- I used it to help prepare for my CFII checkride.  I also purchased your IFR Checkride Reviewer in preparation for that rating.  I am now recommending it to my students as the best single book to buy to prepare for the checkride.
